Just a few days back, WhatsApp was in news for his superb feature mostly to tighten the security concern and rolled out a new feature of Fingerprint unlock for its Android Beta users, As everyone was waiting for this feature to get live, But rumour say that now WhatsApp app might soon introduce another new feature called "Disappearing messages".
As WABetaInfo reported, WhatsApp is working on a feature to make chats automatically disappear. This is kind of similar feature that we have in Telegram known as self-destruct message or can say secret chat. While talking about this new feature of WhatsApp here this disappearing message option will be available to the chats if they are "eligible" to be disappeared. And what exactly makes the chats "eligible to be disappeared"? According to the report, users will have a leash for that.
You can use this option in WhatsApp by marking the chats as "disappeared" under the option of "Disappearing messages". This option is likely to be available under the Group settings category. It is expected that the feature might also work for the private chats.
Although it is not yet confirmed that it will be available for everyone or not. Rumors confirms that this feature is in the alpha stage of development right now, meaning they have just started working on it. The rumoured feature is likely to be available in the Android 2.19.275 update of the app.
As per the rumors, you can also choose the timespan after which you want the message to automatically disappear or self-destruct. Rumors say there will be two options — 5 seconds and 1 hour. As soon as the selected duration is over, the chat will automatically delete and you won't be able to track the removed chat.
