Google Maps' augmented reality navigation is finally rolling out several months after its debut, but still, users may have to wait a while to use this feature. The feature will need "more testing" before it's available to everyone else, Google said. This suggests AR route-finding is much closer to us.
More exact location with 3D arrows hovering over the places you need to turn. Notably, though, Google doesn't want you to rely too heavily on AR.
The AR technology won't really take over from conventional navigation as a result, at least not without Glass-style wearable.
